The link for "Analyze data in a lake database" (Unit 6 of 8 for the Data Engineer course "Create a lake database in Azure Synapse Analytics") appears to be broken. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/training/modules/create-metadata-objects-azure-synapse-serverless-sql-pools/6-exercise-lake-database

It appears to redirect to https://microsoftlearning.github.io/dp-203-azure-data-engineer/Instructions/Labs/04-Create-a-Lake-Database.html which returns a 404.

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

    Hi John,

Are you aware Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification has been retired as of March 31, 2025?

ILT Course Retirement: DP-203T00: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/iltcommunicationblog/ilt-course-retirement-dp-203t00-data-engineering-on-microsoft-azure/4366314

I think there is still value to the course and exercises, but please understand you can no longer earn the corresponding certification. You may still access exercise instructions for the labs as of this writing.

The nearest replacement for DP-203 would be DP-700.

Please click Accept Answer and upvote if the above was helpful.

    Thanks.
