How to fix my Microsoft 365 log in error

My computer is running: Windows 10 Pro year 2018. Whenever I try to login to my company's Microsoft 365 account for use on the desktop I receive the following error:

A required authentication broker is missing. If this error keeps occurring, please contact your System Administrator

    Update Windows 10

    This is the most common solution.

    Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update.

    Click Check for updates.

    Install any pending updates, especially feature updates — authentication issues are often resolved in newer builds.
