Can't link my personal MS learn account with Work/school account.

Question

Few months back i have linked my both MS learn accounts (personal and work/school account) But i can't see any linked accounts, checked via logging in both accounts. So now if i try to link them again it says to merge them (which is permanent). As per the article says if its already linked then it will ask you to merge.

Either these are already linked, but I can't see them linked.

or, both accounts are not linked, but asking me to merge.

I'll appreciate the help.
