Azure server becomes unreachable

My Azure server instance keeps going down for no reason. Then it takes a long time to get it back up. A lot of troubleshooting following the steps mentioned in the https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/azure/virtual-machines/linux/troubleshoot-ssh-connection document to make sure that all steps are ticked off.
It becomes non-responsive to SSH and all services running on the server become inaccessible impacting all the other applications.
Please advise why this may happen. I would really appreciate any leads on where I should look to find the root cause. And if any of you know the right way to reset the server to bring it back on and make it accessible.

I understand you're getting the error: "The virtual machine 'rds-p1' port 22 is not reachable from Host" even though the VM is powered on, the platform and NSGs are fine, Boot diagnostics show no errors and Guest OS network is validated.
This suggests something inside the VM (guest OS or app layer) or possibly underlying Azure host-level issues.Can you share more details on the OS type (Ubuntu, RHEL, etc.), running services, or the VM SKU type, so that I can assist you better!
