Application insights "Client IP" is 0.0.0.0 regardless to the "DisableIpMasking" property

I created an application insight called "log-ip-blank", and according to this manual, I enabled the "DisableIpMasking" property. I tried doing it both manually and through the REST API; in both cases, I could see the property configured correctly. I connected it to some copilot agents but still see client IP 0.0.0.0 for all sessions. Any idea why?
