Phone Number Verification Issue for Azure Free Plan for MLSA technical training

I am currently undergoing MLSA technical training and attempting to access Azure services through the free plan. While signing in to the Azure portal and trying to create resources, I encountered an issue during the phone number verification step. Despite entering my phone number correctly (including the country code for Nepal), I am unable to complete the verification process.

Here are the steps I have already tried:

Ensuring my phone number is active and able to receive SMS or calls.

Attempting both SMS and voice call options for verification.

Clearing browser cache and cookies, and retrying the process.

Using different phone numbers, but facing the same issue.

Unfortunately, none of these steps have resolved the problem. I suspect there might be a regional or technical issue affecting users in Nepal.

    Hello @Gagan Pradhan,

    To address the issue, we contacted our support team and raised a ticket with the Azure Subscription/Account Review team.

    A support engineer from the Account Review team will remove the block on your account phone number, allowing you to sign up for a new Azure tenant without any problems.
