How can my Power BI reports comply with WCAG?
Hello,
I am currently enrolled in Course PL-300T00-A: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst.
I stand at:
- Learning path: Build Power BI visuals and reports
- Scope report design requirements
- Define user experience requirements
- Accessibility
- Define user experience requirements
- Scope report design requirements
I am shocked: I would expect at least a mention of web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG) with a link to learn more! Eg https://www.w3.org/WAI/
My reaction mirrors the rising concern about web accessibility globally, and digital accessibility in Europe (where I live), with EAA (European Accessibility Act) coming into effect in June 2025 (https://accessible-eu-centre.ec.europa.eu/content-corner/news/eaa-comes-effect-june-2025-are-you-ready-2025-01-31_en).
Is this topic of digital accessibility addressed elsewhere in Microsoft Learn? And would you contemplate adding a mention in the Power BI training?
Thank you for your feedback,
Best regards
Ivanne
