Windows 11 Not Reading External Drives

Windows 11 Home Edition version 10.0.26100 Build 26100
Unable to see my external storage drives.
There is a beep when connecting the drives.
The drives do not appear in Device Manager or Disk Management
I have tried different USB ports on the workstation. I have also connected one of the drives to my laptop and it reads fine.
