Cannot see Deepseek usage

Hi, I have deployed the model- DeepSeek - R1 in my azure ai service but I cannot see the usage at all. In the metrics section in the azure foundry, I have the models deployed and the metrics option still I cannot see the usage although the model is being used extensively.

Can someone help with the metrics for it. Thanks!! User's image

The usage is there but not appearing in the metrics. The dates are also correctly set.

Please make sure you have the right permissions to see the usage data for your model. You’ll need the Cognitive Services Usages Reader role to view metrics in the Azure portal. Without this role, the usage might not show up even if the model is being used. You can check this by going to Access Control (IAM) in your Azure resource.

Sometimes, the metrics may not update in real-time. Try refreshing the page or logging out and back into the Azure portal.

Make sure that diagnostic settings are correctly set up for your Azure OpenAI resource. This involves enabling key metrics such as "Processed Inference Tokens" in the logs. Without proper diagnostic configuration, usage metrics and logs might not be collected or displayed accurately.

Monitor Azure OpenAI.

Hi thankyou for replying. So the metrics were not available to me even today on multiple refreshes.

The IAM access is giving errors when I am trying to access it.

Then I set up the diagnostics settings on the portal for the azure ai service. No change in the foundry as well.

The I used the metric also for the resource- azure ai service and for processed inference tokens still no change.

Hi I got a pdf for the metrics so seems the following is my issue-

How can I ensure that the deepseek is a model deplyment from Azure only? Because

I create an azure ai service, then go to the foundry

Deploy model from deployments section- deepseek-R1.

And thats all, then the metrics option is missing. How else can i ensure that the metrics appear and the model is from the azure only?Private Preview - Azure Monitor integration with Azure AI model inference.pdf

I provided the id for the subscription where my azure ai service is deployed on the form. I cannot see the usage still. There is private preview?

The feature is not yet generally available. It is in private preview, and interested customers can request access by completing this form, as mentioned by SriLakshmi C.

In your case, I believe you filled the form correctly and submitted. Did you get any reply mail regarding onboarding to this private preview? If no, please share details asked in private message.

Hi, I got the usage check on foundry for one subcription so I re-filled the form for another subscription and got in as well, but the usage on foundry is not there.
