Unable to Upgrade Azure Subscription from Free Tier to Pay-As-You-Go to Use AI Speech (Pakistan)

Hello Azure Support,

I am trying to upgrade my subscription to use the Azure AI Speech service, but I received an error: "Subscription upgrade failed. You are not eligible for upgrade of your Azure account."

I am from Pakistan and would like help upgrading to a Pay-As-You-Go plan or using AI Speech services. Please guide me on how to proceed.

    Thanks for using QandA platform

    I beleive services like AI Speech aren’t currently supported for Pay-As-You-Go upgrades in Pakistan due to regional restrictions. That’s likely why you’re seeing the upgrade error.

    alternatives, Create a new subscription using a credit card from a supported region (if available).

    Or consider using Azure AI services via Microsoft’s global resellers or third-party clouds that resell Azure.
