event viewer does not have any error logs under application or system

For the past 3 days since the 16th April my windows event logs have no errors logged under Application, Security or system. Usually there are numerous error logs per day. Warning and information logs are still appearing as usual.
i have cleared the logs to see if that fixes it but it doesn't.
I halve also ran dism and sfc scans. security events.jpg
please help.

MotoX80 35,816 Reputation points2025-04-19T12:47:35.24+00:00 If you are seeing warning and infomation events then that would imply that the event system is working properly. Maybe there are no errors occurring.
Open a command prompt with "run as administrator" and paste in this statement.
EVENTCREATE /T ERROR /ID 80 /L APPLICATION /D "Test event"It should then be visible in the application event log.
Beyond that, you would need to explain what changes you made to your pc on the 16th, and provide details about what information these error events contained.

Wow, i have never had a computer yet that had absolutely no errors for 4 days now. And this one up until the problems that happened when it updated to 24H2 and basically destroyed my machine so i restored from an easeus image to the day before use to have many errors per day. The only other thing i did that day was to change DNS entries and give the perapp runtime broker in dcom the user everyone local launch privelages.

2025-04-19T18:37:54.3433333+00:00 I replied as a comment and not an answer because I didn't feel like I actually provided a solution or answered your question. It was just a "hey try this" to check to see if the eventlog is functioning. I expected there to be more discussion.
Give a day or two and see if you get any other errors. Maybe open Control Panel/View Reliability History and see if any programs are crashing and if there is corresponding event in one of the logs.
