I had a billing issue. I raised a request and This is solved thanks to Microsoft team for looking immediately into my concern. I am editing this question as it contains confidential details.

the best option is to open a support request with Azure Support:

Azure Billing and Subscription support is offered by Microsoft by no cost and it's for free.

Hi Andreas Baumgarten,

As per your suggestion, I tried creating a support request, but I'm unable to do so. Despite deleting all resources, clearing everything, and even disabling the subscription, the charges keep increasing. Initially, the amount was $1,530, and now it has jumped to $1,739.80.

I'm extremely panicked and worried about this, especially since I’m a student and simply cannot afford such a huge bill. I genuinely don’t understand how a basic ADF pipeline could incur charges of $1,730 overnight.

I would really appreciate any help or guidance you can provide.

what does "but I'm unable to do so" mean? Any error message?
What issue do you have creating the support request?

Hi Srinivasa Reddy Jaggavarapu,

I followed the steps suggested by Andreas Baumgarten and successfully created a support request. However, I haven't received any response yet. I'm currently awaiting a reply from the support team and sincerely hope that the charges will be waived. Thank you for your support.
