Teams Approvals app not showing notification badge counts

I’m using the Teams Approvals app to create approvals. When an approval is created, I receive a notification badge count in the Teams Activity tab, indicating a new approval. However, the Approvals tab does not show any notification badge count. I’ve troubleshooted by ensuring my Teams notification settings are enabled for the Approvals app and the approval app is pinned as well, and the issue persists.
