configure list of force-installed web apps gpo

Question

I have 5 VM under a domain. I edited the Configure list of force-installed web apps and applied the GPO to the VMs inside my domain, which works fine but often the shortcut created stops opening the PWA and the only way of fixing it is by reinstalling MS Edge, that way the policy reapplies and starts working again until it randomly stops working again after a couple of days.

It happens randomly between the 5 VM and sometimes even in two VM at one time. I've tried troubleshooting it by running gpupdate as end user inside the VM and gpupdate /force in my AD/DB server where the GPO is edited but doesn't work.

Example: web app installed is not opening in VM3, I force the end user to VM2 and it opens but if I bring him back to VM3 it's still not opening.
