    Hi Twin Thompson

Verify the Recovery Services Vault is correctly configured to support cross-tenant operations. Note that you cannot restore data directly across tenants without first moving the subscription.

If the Recovery Services Vault resides in a subscription that needs to be accessed from another tenant, you must move the subscription to the target tenant. This is a prerequisite to enabling restore operations in a different tenant.

If your vault uses Customer Managed Keys, you will need to:

Update the vault to recreate and reconfigure its managed identity.

Re-establish the CMK integration in the new tenant environment.

RBAC permissions do not transfer when a subscription is moved. You must manually reconfigure all necessary access permissions in the new tenant to ensure authorized access to the vault and its resources.

Once these steps are successfully completed, you will be able to initiate the restore process from the Recovery Services Vault within the new tenant.
