Azure student subscription get denied or get approve, then disable immediately

I am teaching undergraduate students and have them applied for $100 Azure student subscription using university email "@ac.th" (like "@.edu") and the email is also being Microsoft subscription. Some students can apply without any problems. However, more than 80% of the class got denied. Some of them apply successfully, but the subscription disabled immediately.

I have each students opened support ticket. After open the ticket, each student receive email asking to submit student id, facebook profile, and github profile, etc. Students do not want to share personal profiles that are not part of the university identity. This make Azure student subscription more difficult to be used for education. Please kindly improve this approval/verification process such as having instruction applying for students, or etc.

If possible, please also provide other solutions for my current issue. Thank you .

    Hi Instructor SE,

It seems that many of your students are experiencing issues with the Azure for Students subscription process. The approval and verification process can sometimes be stringent, and students may face challenges if their applications do not meet specific criteria. Here are some points to consider regarding the Azure for Students subscription:

Following the verification guidelines, Microsoft may deny applications if the university email domain is not recognized or the additional verification steps aren't completed.

Verify that the "@ac.th" domain is properly registered and recognized by Microsoft as an eligible educational domain and for immediate solutions, you can contact Microsoft Support directly and request domain validation for "@ac.th" on behalf of your institution. For alternative verification if students are uncomfortable sharing personal social media profiles can provide other forms of proof, such as University-issued student IDs (without needing personal accounts) and documentation like admission letters or course enrollment confirmation. Encourage students to mention these alternative forms when submitting their tickets.

Refer below documentation links for additional information:

This guidance should help resolve the issues while providing your students with the tools they need for their studies.
