This is normal behavior when lab environments use self-signed certificates. You can still proceed by clicking "Accept and Continue" or using another browser like Chrome if Edge blocks you. If the lab provides a certificate file, you can import it to your trusted root store.
Logging in into Lab says 'connection not secure'
Hi,
After I add my login details to the azure login page in the lab, it comes up with 'connection is not secure' error on Microsoft Edge. In such case I can only do the lab exercises on my own laptop.
I will appreciate if you can help with this issue. I am also concerned about whether my login details are saved or do they get erased after the session.
Regards,

The "connection not secure" error you're seeing when you're logging in to the lab is a very common one, particularly in lab setups where self-signed certificates are used.As pointed out by Ruach Nephesh, this is to be expected. You can continue by clicking "Accept and Continue" when asked to. Alternatively, you may try to use an alternate browser, e.g., Chrome, in case Microsoft Edge is preventing your access. In case the lab supplies a certificate file, importing it into your trusted root store will also correct the problem.
Aside from these recommendations, here are some additional actions you can perform to debug the issue:
1.Use HTTPS: Verify that you are viewing the website over HTTPS rather than HTTP, as addresses beginning with "http://" are not secure.
2.Check Permissions: Verify that you have the proper permissions to view the lab client simulator. Access may be limited to certain users or roles, so ensure that you are logged on using the proper account.
3.Clear Cache and Cookies: Attempt to clear your browser's cache and cookies. After clearing them, reload the page and try accessing the lab client simulator again.
4.Try a Different Browser: If this still does not work, try using a different web browser to determine if it solves the problem.
5.Network Limitations: In case you are using a corporate or institutional network, there can be limitations or firewalls impacting your access. It might be useful to refer to your network administrator to check that you have the appropriate permissions.
These steps are intended to offer alternative approaches to resolving the issue you are encountering.
