Outlook in Browser - AutoComplete Contact List shows contacts after they have been individually removed

Hello!

First and foremost, I can only log into Outlook via a/the browser. I cannot find documentation on this issue for browser instances. I have an email address that I am trying to copy to an email but it keeps showing up as "First Name/Last ******@gmail.com (via Google Docs)". That "via Google Docs" is the issue. I have followed the instructions on how to remove the contact from the drop-down list after entering the first few letters of the address and clicking 'x', then confirming. It no longer shows up after entering a few letters but it definitely still shows up when I enter the whole address and more specifically, it shows up as the recipient's name WHEN THE EMAIL IS RECEIVED (I tested it). This is horrible, I do not want "via Google Docs" being sent to anyone and cannot seem to delete it.

I have created a contact in Outlook for this email address, Outlook doesn't care. I am beyond frustrated.

Please help!

    Hi Charlie Scheid,

    Welcome to our forum!

As I know: Select the X and the contact will be removed from the list and will also be hidden for later use. If you send an email to the contact by replying to an old mail or by typing the full email address on a new mail. After approximately 24 hours, their information will be restored to the list, that is the contact will be unhidden from the suggestion list. It is by design.

There is no method to disable suggested contacts feature and delete its entries permanently on Outlook for Web, this feature is designed to make more convenient using experience, though it doesn't suit for you, your understanding is highly appreciated, if you fairly don't want some contact to appear automatically when typing certain keyword, it is recommended you try to remove it from your contact list, as it is not realistic to remove the contact in your organization's global address list.

    Hope it helps.
