Whenever I try to open minecraft, the launcher takes me to another window that says to ask for permission from a parent. I have clicked this and checked in my Microsoft family, only to see no one in my family. Then, I create a whole new account to be my new family organizer and try to fix the problem, but it still doesn't send the email to anyone. I tried linking the device and downloading the Microsoft Family Safety app. Still, I can only see myself on the family safety mobile app, and when I try to add my other account, it says it is already added, but on the homescreen, it says only one person in my family. is there a admin way or something to just delete that feature bc I'm confused rn and I just want to play some Minecraft that I paid for. Pls help me.

    Hi Kyle,

If your Microsoft account is set up as a child (under 18), Minecraft might enforce parental controls.

You can check by going to your Microsoft account page → Your Info → and trying to edit your birthdate.

If you can’t change it, your account is probably locked as a child account. In that case, you might need to contact Microsoft Support, they can sometimes update your age after verifying your info. As a last resort, you could create a new Microsoft account with an 18+ birthdate and rebuy Minecraft.

Also, make sure to check your Xbox Family Settings — sometimes restrictions come from Xbox Live too.
