2025-05-05T01:37:06.6866667+00:00 To change your display name in Azure, you'll need to modify it within your Microsoft account settings. You can do this by signing in to your Microsoft Account and accessing your account information. Once logged in, you can locate the "Edit Profile" or "Change name" option and update your display name. This change may take up to 24 hours to reflect everywhere

2025-05-05T06:16:42.9966667+00:00 It seems you'd like to change the Display Name for an existing MailFrom address (e.g.,
******@swastify.life
) in your Azure Communication Services Email Domain. You're seeing it currently listed as "DoNotReply" in the Azure portal, and you want to update this display name to something else. Unfortunately, Azure Communication Services (ACS) does not currently allow editing the display name of an existing MailFrom address once it has been created. The display name is a fixed property tied to the MailFrom identity and cannot be changed after setup. To change the display name, you'll need to delete the existing MailFrom address and recreate it with the same email (e.g.,
******@swastify.life
) but with the new desired display name. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/communication-services/quickstarts/email/add-multiple-senders?pivots=platform-azpTo do this, go to your Azure portal and navigate to your Communication Services domain. From the left-hand menu, select MailFrom addresses, find the one you'd like to update, and delete it. Once that's done, click on + Add, enter the same MailFrom email address, and set your preferred new display name. After saving the changes, your MailFrom address will appear with the updated name going forward.

2025-05-05T08:35:34.22+00:00 ACS imposes default throttling limits on email sending capabilities. If your service is operating under these default limits, adding additional MailFrom addresses may be restricted. You can request an increase in your email sending limits by submitting a support request to Microsoft. This process involves evaluating your domain's reputation and email delivery metrics. Azure Communication Services Email Service Limits
I would like to share screenshot with all the steps with the full flow below to how to create a support request: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/quota-increase#create-a-support-ticket
Create this in full screen else you may not see create support request tab in the 6th step.
Navigate to this link to start the process:
https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade/~/overview
- Finish filling out Additional details tab, click Next, review and click Create. You should receive an automated email within a few minutes.
Hope this information is helpful, let me know if you have any further queries.

2025-05-05T09:52:18.65+00:00 It seems you've reached the final step in the process to request a quota increase for Azure Communication Services (ACS). However, if you haven't received a confirmation email or if the 'Add' button remains disabled, it's possible that the support request wasn't fully submitted. The quota increase request doesn’t get processed automatically after this screen, you’ll still need to submit a support request manually for Microsoft to review and act on it.
- Ensure that you've completed all required fields in the support request form, including detailed information about your quota increase needs.
- After submission, you should receive a confirmation email from Microsoft. If you haven't received this, the request might not have been successfully submitted.
- If you're uncertain about the submission status, it's advisable to submit a new support request.
- When filling out the support request, include specifics such as:
- Your ACS resource name and subscription ID.
- The custom domain you're using.
- The desired sending limits (e.g., emails per minute/hour/day).
- The types of emails you plan to send (transactional, marketing, etc.).
- This information will assist Microsoft in processing your request efficiently.
- After submission, monitor your email (including the spam/junk folder) for a confirmation message from Microsoft Support.
