I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue I am experiencing with logging into the MS365 Admin Center. Unfortunately, my mobile phone broke yesterday, which has prevented me from accessing the Microsoft Authenticator app.

As the admin for the domain name. I would appreciate your guidance on how to reset my Microsoft Authenticator for my admin login account so that I can regain access promptly.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Best regards,

Sulaiman

The recommended method is to contact an Administrator from your organization to restore your account. If you are the Administrator, or cannot contact the Administrator at this time, you can try the following steps to self recover your account:

    • Navigate to the Microsoft Sign-In Helper
    • Click the button that says 'Sign-In Helper'
      • Follow the on-screen instructions to recover your account
    • If you are unable to self-recover your account, you will be prompted to contact an Agent

If you are able to log in to the Microsoft 365 Admin Center:

    • Search for your user account and open in
    • Near the bottom, click the 'Multi-factor authentication' link
    • A new window will open
      • If your account is not already selected, select it using the checkbox
      • Click the 'Require Re-register MFA' button
    • Now, sign back into the Microsoft Authenticator app
