Hi,

The folder is specific within a path and has no transferrable permissions or inheritances. Its security tab is blank. Commands such [rmdir, -r] and lots of others found in various posts don't delete it; nor an application such as Mini Tool could delete it. Terminal will resolve that access is denied. And a single content within displayed once by a circumstance had indifferent character -otherwise it appears empty. There has been renaming all folders that lead to the path, navigating to the location by way of the terminal, but the folder itself cannot be renamed or handled.

    Hi Claus,

    Just a thought...

Did you restore to an alternate path and end up with a long path length - i.e. longer than 260 characters?

If so, then this article may be of relevance.

try and access the file using the "\?" prefix. For example, "\?\D:\very long path".
