Hello!
I'm facing issues with installing Microsoft 365 Apps for macOS (macOS Office Suite app type) on macOS clients. OneDrive and Microsoft Teams are already installed, as these apps are distributed to all users, while Microsoft 365 Apps are assigned only to users with the proper license.

I investigated the install.log and found that the installation failed during the OneDrive step with the error: 'A newer version of OneDrive is already installed.'

I tried deploying a configuration policy to exclude Teams and OneDrive from installation https://github.com/microsoft/shell-intune-samples/blob/master/macOS/Apps/Microsoft%20365%20Apps%20for%20Mac/Microsoft%20365%20Apps%20-%20Installation%20Control.mobileconfig, but OneDrive is still being installed within Microsoft 365 Apps for macOS and fails with the same error.

How can I fix this issue without creating a custom pkg installation?
