Hello - I moved some resources to a new group and it appears in the logs they moved. But it's still showing a message that they are moving. Its been 2 hours. Should I just wait until tomorrow? Or is something else going on.

    Hi Brandon Epp,

When moving a resource in Azure, the operation can take up to four hours to complete due to the complexity of the process and dependencies between resource providers. Even if the resource has successfully moved, the notification indicating "moving resource" may persist until the operation is fully finalized. During this time, both the source and destination resource groups are locked, preventing any modifications to the resources within them.

If the notification continues beyond the expected duration, it may indicate that the operation is still in progress or that there was a failure in one of the phases. In such cases, it is advisable to wait for the full four-hour period before taking further action. If the notification does not resolve after this time, you may need to check the Azure portal for any error messages or consider contacting Azure support for assistance.
