Hello, is it possible to update the custom app via Intune using dmg file?
I’m trying to update a custom macOS app via Intune using a DMG file. I created a new app in Intune with the same data as the previous one, only with a different "App version (CFBundleShortVersionString)" and uploaded a newer version of the DMG file. When a user clicked Install, the app was modified; however, the older version is displayed in info. Initially, Intune showed the app status as Installed, but after a few hours, it changed to Failed with error code 0x87D3014D. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions you could provide on resolving this issue. Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes, you can update apps of type macOS apps (DMG) deployed using Intune but only if you follow specific rules

I couldn’t find the Error Code 0x87D3014D in the official documentation but based on other similar errors it might mean that Intune couldn’t verify the app version or detect the update.
