where is the docker tab when creating a web app in azure

When creating a web-app in Azure, there is not a "DOCKER" tab there to get my image source. Not sure if this is a new version of the UI and stores it somewhere else? Or Is it buried somewhere?

The "Docker" tab that used to appear during the creation of a Web App (especially for Linux-based apps) has been moved or integrated into other sections of the Azure Portal UI:

Container configuration is now handled via the “Deployment Center”. This is where you can:

Select your container source.

Configure build and deployment pipelines.

View logs related to container startup and deployment.

If you're deploying a container-based app, the container settings will appear under the “Configuration” blade after deployment. This includes:

Image source

Startup command

Registry credentials (if needed)

I am working on a bootcamp, that I believe shows an older UI and I still can not find anyway to use Docker, versus Git hub, see attached picture.

Thanks for the update — I’ve reviewed the UI, and I believe the bootcamp references an older version of the Azure portal where the Docker configuration may have been more prominent or shown differently.

In the current Azure UI, the Docker option appears during Web App creation, provided we select:

Publish: Docker Container

OS: Linux

From there, the Docker tab becomes available, letting us configure image sources like Docker Hub, ACR, or Compose files.

Thanks for the info. I rebuild this quite a few times.

On this new UI, had to go to Container, 3rd tab at top.
Pick "other container registries"
Then it shows "Docker hub registries"
Add the follwoing:
Registry server URL: docker.io
image and tag: "where your docker image is and account:

Leave "start up command" blank.

Then in my app, did this:

go to deployment center

source : container registry: Set up your app to pull the container image from a registry.

Register Settings

container type: Docker Compose (Preview)
registry source: Docker Hub

repository Access: Public

Then chose configuration file and that populated it to "Config*"
