Hello together,

some time ago in all KB articles which had an issue and it was a private hotfix available there was the link to request it:
support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support

This ist gone and I can't find a way to request the hotfix for KB4586830 for Windows Server 2016.

Did anybody has a hint for me?

Best regards

Stefan

    Hi,

DataCore are testing the fix and Microsoft have not release a hotfix. It’s recommended to uninstall KB4586830 until the fix is released. Or you can contact DataCore Support to check whether the fix is available now.

Ok, well I guess I'd ask DataCore Support to provide more info or details.

The hotfix is not published by Microsoft, you need to open an incident with Microsoft and ask for a private hotfix

You can start a case here with product support. While a card is required to secure the support contract the cost for hotfix and confirmed bugs is always free.

KB4586830 is the November 10, 2020—(OS Build 14393.4046) cumulative update for Server 2016 v1607. You can download it here from update catalog.
    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=KB4586830%20

but if a later cumulative update has been installed then KB4586830 wouldn't install. since cumulative the current update contains new fixes plus the previous monthly update.

    Hello,

    thank you for your answer.
It seems I have asked my question a little weird.

I have installed this KB already, but there is an known issue concerning the mpio.sys which could lead to a BSOD.
For this issue there is a hotfix, which I need.
