We are trying to migrate a company from MDaemon to Microsoft 365. There is a problem with migration point creation. All it says is failed to create. The credentials are all in order. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi @Mirka IPH

Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you have provided, looks like you have trouble when creating a migration endpoint.
If you are using IMAP to migrate from MDaemon

    • Please ensure that IMAP is enabled on the MDaemon server. Verify that all mailboxes are accessible via IMAP.
    • Microsoft 365 no longer supports Basic Authentication for IMAP as of late 2022. If MDaemon only supports Basic Auth, you'll need to enable OAuth 2.0 on MDaemon.
    • Microsoft 365 requires TLS 1.2 or higher. Ensure your MDaemon server supports and uses this version.
