Hi,

We have an issue with users working from home who VPN into an remote desktop running on windows server 22. Local users are mostly on windows 11 with some windows 10.

When using a redirected print driver from their local machine, printing word docs in letterhead consistently alters margins causing parts of the page to be cut off. Printing from proclaim we initially thought this to be an issue with proclaim opening the page in .doc rather than .docx but even when saving the document & printing using the redirected driver the margin issue occurs.

The drivers being used are lexmark postscript

    Hi, Ben

Regarding the margin issues you're experiencing with Lexmark PostScript drivers during remote desktop printing, the following potential causes should be considered:

    1. Driver compatibility issues
    2. Document format influences
    3. RDP print redirection mechanism

To eliminate third-party driver compatibility factors, we recommend testing with Windows' built-in universal print drivers, such as the Microsoft XPS Document Writer. Typically, this solution will provide optimal compatibility with RDP's print redirection architecture.
