Hi All

I am a Global Administrator, and I am encountering the error below when trying to connect to MsolService. I was able to connect successfully a couple of weeks ago, but I am facing this issue now. Please guide me.

Since the MSOnline module is being deprecated, it’s expected that cmdlets like Connect-MsolService may now return Access Denied errors even for Global Admins.

To help you better, could you please let us know exactly what you're trying to achieve with the MSOnline module? We’ll guide you with the equivalent Microsoft Graph PowerShell commands so you can accomplish the same task using the supported module.

Hi @Glenn Maxwell ,

the reason for this error might be the retirement of the MSOnline PowerShell module:

Action required: MSOnline and AzureAD PowerShell retirement - 2025 info and resources

Instead of using the MSOnline PowerShell module it's recommended to use the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK: Install the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK
