I cannot find the Windows Memory Diagnostic app on my new Copilot+ Laptop, as the mdsched.exe file has disappeared from the system. It doesn't appear when searching in File Explorer, or when I use the "Run" command. I have reinstalled Windows 11 and run all DISM commands and sfc /scannow, but without any results. Could the app have been removed from the latest version of Windows? I can confirm that the program is present on my desktop PC.
It seems to be present in C:\WINDOWS\system32. Which Windows versions are installed on your computers?
Both devices are running Windows version 24H2 - 26100.4351. Windows was reinstalled on the desktop PC on February 12, 2025, and on the Copilot+ PC yesterday, June 24, 2025. Everything indicates that the Windows Memory Diagnostic program has been removed recent, as it's not present in C:\WINDOWS\system32 on the laptop either.
