We observed the same issue while reproducing, it throws the error:
"Failed to get the list of connections. NotFoundError: Unable to find workspace."
However, when testing the deployment by directly interacting with the chat, the responses are generated successfully, indicating that the deployment itself is healthy and functional.
This seems to be a UI-level glitch in the Azure AI Foundry portal, you can continue using the deployment via the API or SDK without any issues. As a workaround, you can also manually open the chat playground by navigating through the "Playgrounds" > "Chat" section.

I even tried to connect via logic app client and it simply fails and unable to load the API endpoint which means I assume the model is not deployed as it should be.

2025-06-27T11:11:45.66+00:00 @santoshkc for old deployments, it is a UI issue. I can still interact with them in the playground and via API/SDK.
But for fresh deployments, it does not work.
Inside the playground, I get this error when trying to chat with the model:
DeploymentNotFound: The API deployment for this resource does not exist. If you created the deployment within the last 5 minutes, please wait a moment and try again.
It's been more than five minutes.

After waiting a couple of hours, the deployed model is working fine. Also, a newly deployed model was working immediately. The UI issue remains.

- You can see and use the resource in the Azure Portal.
- The error appears when a portal blade tries to list "connections" for your Cognitive Services account.
- The error path uses
account(singular):/providers/Microsoft.CognitiveServices/account/*********The correct resource type isaccounts(plural).
