Situation:

In MS Teams "Shifts"

  • In team shifts View
  • In Week view
  • When start of the week is Monday (This is Key)

Broke Scenarios:

  • Click Today then the back a week and it skips two weeks.
  • Click Today then the forward a week button is broken for the first click the 2nd click it will move forward one week.

Unacceptable workaround:

  • Changing the Start of week to Sunday does not have this issue.

    Hi Stephen Williams

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum support

Based on your description, I understand you've encountered a bug in the Microsoft Teams calendar system. First and foremost, I truly appreciate you taking the time to report this issue.

Due to licensing and access limitations, I'm unable to provide a definitive solution to your concern. I understand this may not be ideal, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. As a forum moderator, my role is to help guide discussions and share insights based on Microsoft documentation and community knowledge. However, I don’t have access to internal product details or the ability to offer developer level responses.

That said, here are a couple of suggestions that may help you move forward:

    1. Microsoft Tech Community: You might consider posting your concern there to see if others have experienced similar issues or found workarounds.
    2. Microsoft Support Ticket: If the Tech Community doesn’t fully address your concern and you need a more definitive answer, the best next step would be to open a support ticket directly with Microsoft.

You have two options for creating a support ticket:

Option A: Through Teams Admin Center

You can submit a free support ticket here, but it's primarily intended for issues directly related to Microsoft Teams functionality. It doesn’t cover development-related questions or architectural guidance.

    Option B: Unified support

Please note that this is a paid support ticket, which means it requires an active support plan or a one-time support purchase. However, the benefit of using this channel is that your inquiry will be routed directly to the Microsoft Product Group responsible for the specific service or feature in question. This team includes engineers and developers who work on the product itself, so they are best positioned to provide accurate, in-depth, and authoritative answers especially for complex or edge-case scenarios that go beyond publicly available documentation or community knowledge.

Hope you will solve the problem soon
