Hi @Cornelius Pillen
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum.
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your experience.
Since Skype was retired in May 2025, Microsoft has moved its calling features to Microsoft Teams Free. Just like Skype for Business, Teams lets you call landlines and mobile numbers using Skype Credit:
- Sign in to Teams with your Skype account (the one that holds your Skype Credit).
- Click your profile picture in the top-right corner > Select Skype Dial Pad from the menu.
For further details: Make a call with Skype Dial Pad in Microsoft Teams Free
Please note:
- If your credit is active, the dial pad will appear. If not, you’ll be prompted to reactivate it from the My Account page in Skype or Teams.
- If you’re using Teams on desktop and don’t see the dial pad, you can visit calling.web.skype.com and sign in with your Skype account to access the dial pad there.
- Once your credit runs out, you’ll need to upgrade to a Microsoft Teams Phone license (formerly called Phone System) to continue making calls.
I hope this helps clarify things for you. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions.
