To better assist you, could you please confirm whether User 1 was added to Azure AD as an internal user or as a guest user?
In the meantime, I recommend trying the following steps for both users:
- Clear the Teams cache.
- Repair the Teams app using Microsoft’s official guide here: Repair apps and programs in Windows - Microsoft Support
If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could provide:
- A screenshot showing the “attachment previews are not available in Teams” message.
- A screenshot of the microphone permissions being blocked due to privacy settings.
- And for User 2, a screenshot of the error or behavior observed when they are logged out of the Teams desktop app.
