Teams issue

We have two users facing issues with Microsoft Teams. Both users are added to Azure AD (cloud-only) and are on the same policies and setup.

  • User 1: is experiencing an issue where attachment previews are not available in Teams, and the microphone permissions are blocked due to privacy settings.
  • User 2: is facing login issues — the user keeps getting logged out of the Teams desktop app and is unable to log back in. The browser version of Teams works fine for both users.

Both users have the same configuration and policies applied. what might be causing these issues or steps to resolve them would be appreciated.

    To better assist you, could you please confirm whether User 1 was added to Azure AD as an internal user or as a guest user?  

    In the meantime, I recommend trying the following steps for both users: 

    If the issue persists, it would be helpful if you could provide: 

    • A screenshot showing the “attachment previews are not available in Teams” message. 
    • A screenshot of the microphone permissions being blocked due to privacy settings. 
    • And for User 2, a screenshot of the error or behavior observed when they are logged out of the Teams desktop app. 

    Please note if you do share a screenshot, make sure to blur or cover any sensitive or personal information before sending it.
