Hi all!
I have a Surface Book (performance base 256gb), and it has been slowing down, overheating and the screen has been bent from when I got it.
It is still under the one year warranty, but while reading through the warranty card, I saw it said that they don't give refunds (allegedly) if there are any scratches on the device. That's the problem. I have used this at school and the grip lines to raise the device upwards to stop the metal underside being scratched are too short, and the device gets scratched on the bottom. Nothing major but still obvious scratches are on the bottom of the device. About two large-ish ones are on there alongside a few little ones. There is also a scratch on the area where the pen magnetically attaches, due to me taking it off and putting it back on frequently.
Would they give me a refund if I requested it or would they decline it?
Im in Australia if that makes a difference.
Cheers.
