Problems wir Wireless Display Adapter flickering when scrolling any fix?

When the Wireless Display Adapter is connected to a device with an Intel processor, there are no issues. However, once a device with an AMD processor is connected, the following problems occur: the screen flickers when there is no activity, and the image distorts when scrolling in Excel.

The problem was reported by one of our customers last week. The issues always occur when scrolling, and occasional flickering happens. Are there any error messages displayed?

No Error Messages are displayed only the Problems stated above.

The device being used is a Lenovo Thinkpad L13 Gen 3, tested with both Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Drivers have been installed, the device's BIOS is up to date, and different devices have been attempted.

The mentioned device does not support HDCP, and I'm wondering if this is causing the issues or if there is another solution to bypass these problems.

    Hi Reinstadler Oliver,

Thank you for reaching Microsoft Community. We're sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you.

I understand that you are experiencing issues with your Lenovo Thinkpad L13 Gen 3 utilizing the Microsoft Wireless adapter on an AMD processor. Let us work on this together and both isolate the issue.

Microsoft Wireless adapters are made to work with Surface devices to their fullest capability. With non-HDCP devices, full functionality is not possible.

    Kind regards,

    Lavenia
