FFXI Character won't display on Intel HD 4000 current driver

This issue has been brought up on the Intel Forum with no solution as of yet... Except for a temporary fix,  by swapping the video drivers to the WMDD 1.2 version but these drivers are buggy.

Here's hoping I can find more information about this here!

Thanks in advance.

    Greetings Willmar,

Sorry to hear about your experience with Final Fantasy 11 and the Surface Pro. Please bring the issue to the attention of Square-Enix in their Technical Support forums for Final Fantasy 11.

Did you try altering any of the settings in the Intel Media and Graphics Control Panel program that installs after installing the full Intel HD Graphics 4000 package?

I did but the options are rather limited there.  From what I've gather researching online, it's definitely a driver issue because the character does show up when using the 5/20/12 driver.  However, Intel has yet to fix this bug, so here's hoping Microsoft makes them!

Any difference if you install this package from October?
