Have you updated the firmware version of your Surface Dock 2? Have you tried clearing the display cache of your Surface device and uninstalling/reinstalling the monitor driver that appears in Device Manager?
Please follow Solution # 5 from this link>>https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023496/surface-troubleshoot-connecting-to-a-second-screen to clear the display cache of your Surface device. Once done, kindly restart your Surface and kindly check this link for surface dock 2's firmware update>> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4023478/surface-update-your-surface-dock.
