I recently bought a refurbished SP3 and I5, 4 GB Ram, and have 119GB with more than half used up by MatLab and Creo softwares.  What's the most cost effective way to upgrade RAM and Storage and not lose graphical functionality?  See a lot of older queries to these questions, but not any new ones.

These devices are not upgradable from a RAM or SSD perspective. Using a Micro-SD card will give more storage on board.

Thanks, was getting that impression. Ordered a 4-TB external HD from Costco. Too bad RAM is not expandable beyond 4GB.
