Hi Jonathon Orlowski
We appreciate your input within the Microsoft Community. Considering the troubleshooting steps you’ve already followed, there’s a chance this could be related to a hardware problem. However, before reaching a final conclusion, you might want to attempt the following steps:
- Check the charging cable and adapter for any damage or fraying. If there is any damage, try using a different charging cable and adapter.
- Try charging the laptop using a different power outlet.
- If you have access to another Surface Laptop 4, try using its charger to charge your laptop.
If none of these step's work, it is likely that there is a hardware issue with your Surface Laptop 4. In this case, I recommend contacting Live Microsoft Support for further assistance.
Note: Just to set you an expectation. Processing replacement orders, checking the status of orders, and escalating cases are beyond our scope of support here in the community. We do not have the necessary tools to create or check orders. Only our live support team can assist you with this concern.
