Microsoft only tests the pens on Surface devices. If the HP has an Ntrig touch
screen, the pen may work. Try the HP forums - other customers report that some
x360 models work with the Surface pen, but we do not have a list.

I own a 2 in 1 HP Envy x360 Convertible 15m-ed0023, I purchased the Surface Pen recently and works perfectly with my HP Laptop.

I was able to assign different tasks when you press the button on the top. So far I am liking it, I really dislike smears and fingerprints on the screen so I use it for everything..

Just pay a little more and get the EYU-00009 (BestBuy had it on sale for $73).

So far I have to 2 complaints, the texture makes it a little hard to grip and hold also the button near the tip part makes it awkward to press. also I wish it acted similar to a finger touch like swiping and etc.

    Hope this helps!
