Hello !

I'm a proud owner of the new surface pro (i7/16g/512g) and I use every day adobe Illustrator software.

I noticed that the GPU acceleration function doesn't work well with visual gliches (inserted image) and I switched my Surface pro 3 to 2017 one also for the better GPU performances...

I would like to know where this problem come from (Microsoft ? Drivers ? Adobe ?) and if it will be fixed soon.

I don't really want to buy Apple product but if they are the only one who can garantee creative softwares to run on a computer out of the box I will have no choice :(

    Hi Jonathan,

It is true that the challenge that you are having with the Adobe Illustrator is being caused by an issue with the drivers on your Surface Pro. There are some instances wherein the display driver is not working well with the GPU acceleration function on your device. For us to isolate the issue, we suggest that you uninstall and re-install the Adobe Illustrator. If the issue is still present, we recommend that you contact Adobe support for further assistance.

    Regards.

I was having the same issue on new Surface Pro i7.

You can disable GPU Preview and switch to CPU Preview via the 'View' menu, which fixes it. You can also disable GPU preview by default in preferences.

Possibly not the ideal long term solution (drivers should just work), but it seems to fix everything for me with zero downsides.
