There is a surface 3 bundle available on ebay for cheaper. The only problem that i have with is is that the box doesnt appear to be the one that comes from microsoft. I contacted the seller and he said it was brand new and the box is a "some sort of commercial purchase box". Does it look real to you? Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/152118341034?\_trksid=p2047675.m570.l5999&\_trkparms=gh1g%3DI152118341034.N36.S2.R1.TR1

Thanks!

It MAY be real and probably is an Enterprise device that you won't be able to

register as a personal device and get support for.

An Enterprise Surface device can be re-registered as a consumer device.  To do so, however, you must call Microsoft Surface support so that it can be unregistered from the Enterprise group first.  Be aware that Enterprise devices usually carry a longer hardware warranty from Microsoft than consumer Surface devices.  By registering it as a consumer device you may lose part of that warranty timeframe.  The link above indicates it may carry extra warranty thru a third party.  Check with the Seller prior to purchasing.

chances are it is an Enterprise device that has an Enterprise warranty - and that is different than a consumer warranty. It may not be eligible for a consumer warranty if it was purchased over a year ago.

Most of the Enterprise Surface's on eBay end up being outside the consumer warranty period. It's a real nightmare.
