I have an older arc mouse that I love using on my laptop that does not have Bluetooth, but it’s stopped seeing the dongle. How can I pair the mouse with a new dongle?

I have an older arc mouse that I love using on my laptop that does not have Bluetooth. It no longer pairs with the dongle. Is there a way to pair the mouse with a different dongle?

    Hello Chris,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

If your Arc mouse no longer works with your old dongle, please let me kindly explain:

Each Arc Touch mouse is paired with its built-in dongle at the factory. This means that the replacement dongle will not be able to connect to the Arc Touch mouse.

Therefore, the right thing to do now is to send your Arc mouse to the Accessories support team and see if they can help you more with this issue.

I can guide you through how to reach live support, here are the steps:

    1. Use your personal Microsoft account (not your organization account) to access the following links:

    Contact - Microsoft Support

    1. Type Arc Mouse, press Enter, and click "Contact Support" at the bottom:

    1. Select according to the screenshot below and click Confirm:

    1. You will see contact options for Chat support and Phone support, please contact them during business hours:

I wish you all the best.

    Best Regards,
