I have a surface X Pro… I’ve had it for around 3 years and have had to replace the key board twice…. I’m not hard on it. This morning it went out yet again. How can this be resolved I at this point feel like a different laptop all around would be cheaper as the key board it’s self is $800-1,000. The last two times I have reach out for help and got nothing

Can I get one sent to me? I feel as though this is a surface issue and not one of my doing.

    Hi Bailey,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I'm Hahn and I'm here to help you with your concern.

I apologize for the inconvenience you've experienced with your Surface Pro X keyboard.

To better help you, please tell me what specific problem you're experiencing. You mentioned that your keyboard stopped working again in the morning, can you describe what happened in detail? For example:

    • Did the keyboard stop working at all, or did only certain keys stop working?
    • Did the keyboard respond in any way when connected to the device (such as light indication)?
    • Did you try other troubleshooting steps, such as restarting the device, checking the connection, etc.?

This information will help me better understand the problem and provide a more specific solution. Thank you!

    Your Sincerely

Hahn. W - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
