I ran into a huge problem with my Surface Pro 6, I wanted to install another system (Linux) and connected a flash drive with an image (I did it through Rufus), I do everything correctly, everything is working properly and the BIOS does not boot from the flash drive, the image is completely functional, I checked it on another PC, the question is how can I reset the BIOS or fix this problem.

The Linux version in the form is 22.04.

Windows 11 23H3 version.

Surface version: 6 1796

I'm not sure why you can't boot from your USB drive, but there is another option. Windows Subsystem for Linux or WSL from Microsoft. You can use this to install Linux and run it side-by-side in Windows without needing to reboot or do anything else.

Just something for you to consider and look into if it sounds of interest to you.
