I bought a Samsung 991a in 2230 format, transferred win to it (including bitlocker using disk genius), installed it in a laptop and silence, the laptop does not turn on. Samsung is working properly, it works in another PC. I returned the original ssd, the surface is working. Maybe there are some details (tricks)? but it should turn on...

    Hi А Т1!

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community. We're here to help and let's work on this together.

I understand you're having issues with your Surface device. Happy to help and provide more options here.

With your query, Surface Laptop Go 2 dos does not have a removable SSD option, this is one of the reasons why it is not working when you tried to replace it. Also please note that. SSD removal is intended for use by qualified IT technicians in an enterprise organization. It describes the recommended best practices for use by skilled IT technicians.

Thanks again for choosing Microsoft. Hope this helps!

    Regards,

    RodelioP.
