Your power plan information isn't available?

Hi, everyone:

I installed windows 10 on my surface pro 3. I went to the "Power Option" on control panel and did't see any power plan is listed in there. I remember when my surface was running win8.1, there was a "balanced plan". When I clicked the "Create a new plan" button on the left, it gave me "Your power plan information isn't available".

Snapshot is included.

I have tried the powercfg -restoredefaultscheme, but it doesn't work.

How to fix this problem?

Thanks

    Hello iqapple,

Thank you for contacting the Surface community. We are sorry to hear that the power options are not displaying on your Surface since you upgraded to Windows 10. We would like you to verify if you have all the updates installed. If not, follow the steps below then check again the power options.

Please let us know about the outcome.

Step 1: Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and tap Settings.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and click
Settings.)
Step 2: Tap or click Change PC settings > Windows Update >
Check now.
Step 3: If updates are available, tap or click View details.
Step 4: Tap or click to select the updates you want to install, and tap or click Install.

You may need to restart your Surface after the updates have installed
