I'm sorry to hear about the display issue on your Surface. I appreciate the effort in performing troubleshooting methods.
Just to confirm when the screen turns on, does it stuck on the Windows logo then goes to black screen or it proceeds to the desktop menu?
May I also confirm if you have tried to boot the device to the UEFI menu? The UEFI environment is outside the Windows system so any issues that persists on the UEFI could be potential hardware issues. Turn off the device > press the volume up then the power button for 15 seconds.
If the device doesn't show any display while trying to boot to the UEFI settings the issue is related to hardware. In this case, please reach out to the Customer Support to get it replaced.
